Armistead House is conveniently located within a short two block walk to the Colonial Williamsburg Historic District and its iconic Duke of Gloucester Street, museums, shopping and restaurants. It’s also a very short walk to The College of William & Mary and the Williamsburg train station. Leave your car in our private parking lot and enjoy the short stroll to the heart of Williamsburg – convenience is king!

Planning Your Arrival

Before you arrive, a text message will be sent to the number on file. It will contain your unique entrance code to access the building and your room. Please share this code with other members of your party.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in times are allowed anytime after 3:00 PM

Check-out times are at 11:00AM, or earlier if you prefer.

Staff Availability

We are open 24 hours every day for access to rooms by confirmed guests. Staff is available to contact from 9AM to 4PM weekdays, and our innkeepers are often there at other times. We have a 24-hour phone that guests can call for emergencies outside of our regular hours.

Cleaning

If you book to stay for longer than three nights, a mid-stay towel change will be provided if needed. We are happy to discuss additional housekeeping services if required.

Parking

Parking is located immediately behind the building. One spot is allocated per room. Additional public parking is located at the Prince George Parking Garage, one block from Armistead House.

Accessibility

No elevators are available and all rooms require stair walk up. The rooms are on the second or third floor of the building. Entrance to the first floor of the house is wheelchair accessible via a ramp from the parking lot.
